In addition, Vietnamese is one of the country highly appreciating major holidays, festivals and rites of passage. The most important festival in Vietnam is Tet Nguyen Dan (Tet). In Vietnam, there are many rites such as birth of a child, engagement, marriage, funeral, and anniversary of ancestors’ death. All of these features create a unique cultural identity of Vietnam.
